Grace Institute has been created as an outreach to the community to meet the needs of leaders and community members who are seeking quality growth, satisfaction and fulfillment in their lives. Services offered through Grace Institute are directed to meet the needs of all spectrums of a person's life including spiritual, mental, and physical.

Board Members:

Jeanne Grevlos
Jeanne Grevlos is the current Director of Adult Faith Formation at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Naperville, Illinois. Jeanne is pursuing her Certificate in Spiritual Direction in hopes of companioning with others on their spiritual journey in the midst of daily living. Education on all levels is her passion. She taught in the public school setting for fifteen years and received the Teacher of the Year Award in two different districts. Jeanne is married to the Senior Pastor at Our Saviour’s and together they have a college-aged son.

Sharon Huffman
Sharon Huffman has years of experience as a teacher and leader. She has most recently served in leadership roles at Grace Community Christian Church since 1994 as an elder, board moderator, ministry team leader and Bible study teacher. She and her husband of 53 years have 4 children and seven grandchildren. She loves the Lord, serving His work through Grace, and praises Him each day for so many blessings.

Gayle Lee
Gayle Lee has been involved in nonprofits for over 25 years. She has been an Executive Director of local and national organizations consistently since 1983, as well as serving on the Board of Directors of national nonprofits. Currently Gayle is the Executive Director of Loma Linda Veterans Association for Research located in Redlands, California.

Gene Wilson
Gene Wilson comes to Grace Institute with years of extensive operations management and executive experience, having spent over 25 years in leadership roles. His most recent career experience was President and Chief Executive Officer of PANTHEOS Group, LLC, which provides a variety of human resource related outsourcing services to Chicago area businesses. He is a Co-Founder of the company and remains in an advisory capacity to the firm. He is the proud father of twins and grandfather of five awesome kids.

Michelle Jenks

Michelle Jenks is Founder and Executive Director of Grace Institute. She is an acclaimed speaker, a skilled trainer, and a sought after coach with a varied background in corporate training and coaching, entrepreneurial endeavors, coordination of volunteer programs, and ministry development. Michelle also serves as Pastor of Growth and Worship at Grace Community Christian Church, and is a co-founder of Inspire! Ministry for Women. Contact Michelle at michelle@grace-institute.com

Roger Jenks

Roger Jenks is Senior Pastor at Grace Community Christian Church. He brings a distinctive combination of skills to Grace Institute with years of experience as a teaching tennis pro, A CBS religious news reporter, a keynote speaker and church consultant around the country, and a published author and composer of Christian music. Roger created a biblical literacy program for youth that has been adopted by congregations in over 12 different Church denominations, developed the Pastor’s Academy for CCIW and co-developed the Youth Summit. Diane Thomas

An ordained pastor and psycho-therapist, with her doctorate in clinical psychology, Diane Thomas adds a significant component to Grace Institute. She has 20 years in the mental health field and has concentrated on working with chronically mentally ill, group therapy, individual therapy and education.She has a heart for people to experience fulfilled lives through mental wellness and growing relationships with God. Diane is the Pastor of Faith Formation at Grace Community Christian Church and will bring her training and counseling skills to Grace Institute in her contracted staff position.
